My advice would be Freedom Shields.  :2vrolijk_21:  They also give you a forum discount.

Depends on how tall you are looking.

I had a thicker Slip Streamer on my 03 FLHTC and while the height was good, the added thickness made the fairing gap at the mounting holes. Finally the mount holes cracked in the windshield.

The local dealer had a demo KlockWerks that I tried and found that the curvature of the edges put the wind noise right next to my ears and made the radio at highway speed harder to hear.  Ultimately I went with the H-D windsplitter because I preferred the air flow over the top and around my head.

Hey all thanks for the replies. Those of you who own the klock werks. Does the windshield vibrate/shake alot? And those of you who recommended the freedom shield does it get rid of a slight wobble on the front end? What do you like about the freedom shield rather then the klock werks?

freedom shield is what i chose. it is thicker than the stock one and has a slight turn up that kicks the air up as if you had a taller shield. plus the customer service is great!

The Freedom Shield has the best polished finish on the edges.  The shield is thick, and as mentioned above it has this tilt to the front flair at the top that kicks the air above your head.  First MC that I have owned that no longer had wind buffeting.  I wish I would have know about this shield on previous MC's.

Good Luck,

One of those individual things that depends on how you fit on the bike.  I had Klockwerks, no issues, I have the HD Windsplitter now 12" & 14" no issues, had a Cee Baileys, no issues.  Not sure why everyones concerned about strength, if you hit something hard enough to damage a windshield, you may have some more important things to worry about?  I think fitment and preventing scratches from cleaning is important...IMO

Klockwerks for 2 years now, no rattle, no shaking at high speed, GPS clocked top speed at 106 last summer, did not notice windshield noise at all. Only draw back was the fit. Windshield went on easy as pie, but the fitment was terrible, the sides rise up 1" off of the fairing and looks terrible. I was forced to add the chrome windshield trim from HD, I am still not crazy with the trim kit look, I liked the black rubber on the stock windshield. I also noticed a bit more wind at my head, but the wife says less on her in back seat and for some unexplained reason, the stereo sounds louder with the Klockwerks on!
