2007 SERK Air Suspension
« on: September 13, 2006, 08:53:01 AM »

The Shrader valve for the rear air suspension is cleverly moved to the mount for the detachable sissy bar.  The standard Electra Glide series location is behind the left fender strut cover.  The system is designed to be adjusted with the Touring Suspension Air Pump, p/n 54630-03A.

The problem is that the relocated valve does not have enough threads to allow the pump to depress the valve -- it doesn't work with the air pump.  So how do you add air to the rear suspension?

On a 2005 SEEG I had, I had the dealer relocate the valve to the stock location.  Is there any other way around this problem?  Snyde comment:  Wouldn't you think that someone at HD would have noticed this problem years ago and fixed it?

Will it work if you remove the saddlebag?  On my 03 I have  to do that each time i adjust the shock.
