I did mine detachable with the Hawg-Wired 4-channel Amp setup in the fairing, and so my JESTER is 2-channel 150 watt HAWG-WIRED front speakers only with Tour Pak detached, and 4-channel w/ 300 Watts with the Tour Pak on, AND also without the awful ugly amplifier standing out like a sore thumb under the Pak.

It is A LOT of work but they do look nice without the Tour Pak!!

I still haven't decided on which seat to use with the Pak off of the JESTER!?!?! SUGGESTIONS!?!?

Just my .02 cents worth........ I installed the quick disconnect kit on my 05 and kept wearing the bushings out therefore causing the pack to rattle. I had about 5,000 miles each time.

Hey Rob

Was your 05 an Ultra? I have a king tour pak on my 05 SEEG and got 15000 before I had to have bushings replaced.

Yes it was an Ultra. Maybe I put too much in mine as I ride 2 up about 85% of the time on weekend trips loaded. [smiley=banana.gif]
