TFI or EJK Dobeck performance
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:18:04 AM »

I had a TFI on my 09 Road King. I loved it on my RK. Dobeck Performance has a good discount for Vets, they knocked $100 off the price. For a $250 controller a heck of a discount. Has anyone put these on your CVO?

I had a TFI way back in 2005, and it did help improve the decidedly lousy low speed operation of the stock bike until I got a PCIII.  However, it is very limited compared to any of the real tuning systems on the market.  And I wouldn't recommend any device that bypasses or eliminates the O2 sensors on a late model Harley that has closed loop fuel management.  It makes no sense to me to give up the benefits of the more modern engine management system.

I have a dobeck ejk on my 11 cvo conv.  Quick easy install, helped a lot with the popping on deceleration.  I am going to eventually upgrade to powervision as it has many more options.
