Welcome brother...great choice. :2vrolijk_21:

Some of the things that have gone wrong for me are and you should check and see if they are replaced on your ride are..........

1. Updated amp. The first ones are really cheap and blow when the volume is cranked up.
2. Updated tweeters. Same as above.
3. Recall on the rear brake switch.
4. Had the o-ring on the oil pressure switch replace twice.
5. Had the cruse control switch replaced twice.
6. Speaker grills fading/paint coming off.
7. Had 3 head units replace.

That's what i can think of for now. I will update again if i think of something. Saying that though I love the bike and is a great ride. I have 64 000 KM/40 000 Miles. The motor lets' off a lot of heat but you quickly forget about that once you turn the throttle. :bananarock:

The amp and speakers were fix as fail under warranty, however the Brake Light Switch was actually a factory safety recall. You can have your local dealer run the VIN # to see what was done to your bike under warranty. If the Brake Light Switch wasn't replaced yet it is N/C even if out of warranty due to recall.

If you get too cold and need to thaw out come on down to Sunny Florida, looks like you guys are gonna get blasted with snow this weekend!!

My 2011 SG, thank god, has not given me a moments problem. Probably the kiss of death! Welcome and if you ever make it over near Philly, buzz me up!  I'm getting ready for Daytona and when I'm down there planning on spending some cold, hard cash.  Already set up w Soundz Customz to put in 4 Focal speakers and an Arc amp.  Also thinking about having S&S put in a cam and pushrods. I'm bad at Daytona....I get like a kid in the candy store.

Hello everyone!  I introduced myself to the forum a few months ago while searching for a CVO SG.  I ended up finding a sweet 2011 Autumn Haze/Gunstock with very low miles and all the options I wanted...bars, wheels, radio.  I picked it up a few days before Christmas.  Have been tinkering with it some but this cold PA winter is limiting what I can do out in my cold garage.  In the mean time I have been reading the forum and picking up alot of info.  I'm not new to Harleys, just new to the CVO bikes and the 110" motor.  My bike is now out of warranty so I am praying I don't run into any trouble with the 110.  I do all of my own maintanence and non-engine/tranny repairs but if this 110 causes me problems I'm going to be pissed.  Anyhow, waiting for the warmer weather and the roads to get clear of salt so I can get my new ride out for a spin.
I have heard of several bikes having this problem... the "pretty little" chrome balancing weights coming off while riding and denting the fender from the inside out... mine happened to the rear... most seem to happen to the front... MO CO warrentied it by replacing the fender and at the same time they took care of the recalled brake light wiring issue.

Good luck with your new ride... i'm originally from "the burgh" now in the florida keys... where we get to ride all the time!
