To each their own bud ... I never heard of the guy and couldn't give a rat's ass what the HOG club says, they don't pay my bills. I don't care who my money goes to provided I have that piece of paper saying I'm covered. If you think about it they're all crooks anyway, some just more than others.

Progressive wanted 1200 per year.  I did a little internet shopping and got it at Dairyland for 550 per year.

My brother moved from WI. to TN about 20 years ago, and for the same coverage he had here,
the rates doubled! He also said in TN if you have an accident, you had to sue the other guy in court
to get your car fixed! Is that the same today, or does it get settled between companies?
I know every state has different rates base on numerous factors. I have a friend in NJ, and he paid
$1200/yr for a beat up VW, 10 years ago, and he had a clean record. Here in WI. it would have been
about $200 for the same liability coverage.

Interesting notes about Progressive, my wife and I have progressive on our bikes and pay a total of just over $600/year (that is with average coverage).  And I DID get a HOG member discount.  I received an email from my local Harley dealer this weekend and said they had paired their MVP program with Dairyland and I would also get my HOG discount- came out to just over $400 for the 2 bikes (that was with slightly lower coverages however).  So, at the moment I will stick with Progressive, at least until my coverage is up.
