Performance Upgrades
« on: March 15, 2013, 12:54:04 PM »

Have my CVO Breakout due in April. Any suggestions on a performance chip. Power Commander doesn't show any applications for CVO.

If you're looking for a "chip" like the ones used in some automotive applications - I don't think they exist, since there is no "chip" to change out you have to access and unlock the bikes ECM and change the programming in it.

A lot of us here use the TTS MASTERTUNE. You could give them a call to see if their system will work on the 2013 Breakout CVO.

Of course you'll need a good shop that knows how to use it to dial it in, but I've been told it's very similar to the "old" HD SERT and you shouldn't have to much trouble finding a shop.
If you're not upgrading anything else on the bike you won't need a tuning device, just ride it
What else are you planning? Exhaust upgrade? I hear the choices are limited for the Breakout? :nixweiss:   If so perhaps the maker of the exhaust you chose can recommend a tuning device. You could also probably purchase the HD SEPST through the dealer and have them tune the bike.
