Mastertune already allows you to cut and paste the values! Its always been there, but I do not know if the SESPT allows it.
Thank you Steve.  I knew that I could I cut and paste the data from a SEPST to the TTS but was unsure if the resulting TTS map would end up being essentially identical to the SEPST map.

I know that the TTS writes to areas of the ECM that the SEPST does not, and thought that there may be other items affecting the tune that are managed by the respective applications that are not exposed the users, all of which may prevent a manual and full cloning of the maps.

In other words, if I had a SEPST map that was "theoretically" a 100% perfect tune for my bike; if I copied all of its working data and settings to a a compatible TTS map, would the resulting TTS map be 100% perfectly tuned for my bike?

What I'm hearing is that the resulting map will be identical provided I can manually copy all of the data from the SEPST.

I'm probably over thinking this whole thing (bad habit of mine - sorry).

If my local tuner is unable to tune using the TTS, I'll attempt to transfer the data from the re-tuned SEPST map to a compatible TTS map.  If its successful, I'll load it as my base map for Doc to start with.

After Doc has tuned my bike, I'll leave Doc's TTS map loaded but transfer its data to a copy of my SEPST map to update it hopefully providing me with a well tuned map for both (in the event that I ever need to use another tuner that will only work with the SEPST in the future).

NO, it will not be identical but it will be a starting spot. I'm sure that Doc will use what he wants to start with anyways as he has a lot of combinations he has already done and anytime you try working with something someone else has done you end up with all there mistakes too! Sometimes it takes longer to find them and readjust than just using what you know is good already.

Good advice.  Of course I'll go along with whatever Doc wants to do, I'd be a fool not to since he's got the experience and knowledge.

One of the main reasons that I'm going to use Doc is that I'm not 100% confident in my local tuners abilities. However, if Doc were to look at their work and say its good, my confidence in them would be restored and I would not be as hesitant to use them again the future.  Currently, I don't have the piece of mind that I'm looking for.

It would also be nice though if it were possible to take the tune from a single tuning session and use it interchangeably with either the TTS or SEPST.

The ECM hardware is identical to both and I assume the embedded program code/firmware is not altered by either device.  I assume that both devices only make changes to areas of the ECM that store data/configuration.  However, I just used the word "assume" twice....

I had been hoping that it would be like creating a Word document on a PC in Microsoft Office and then opening it in Open Office on the same PC without losing any formatting or content.

It's unfortunate that it currently requires two separate costly Dyno tuning sessions to create essentially the same map for the same bike, one for each tuner that each rely on and use the same physical ECM.

Obviously, this more complicated than I was thinking or hoping it would be.

Thank your for your patience and taking the time to answer my questions.  The level of customer service and support that you and your company provides makes the TTS the tuner of choice for me.

Regarding injectors, is there a significant real world difference between the SE injector kits and HPI injectors other than price (big difference in price)?

You know what happens when one assumes.............

I have just used the ones HD sells as they only sell them. I have no idea what HPI charges but I would ASSUME they just sell them as well. Not many people are capable of making them. They (HPI) may flow match  them but I do not know.

Yup... :)

I'll call HPI tomorrow.  Maybe there injectors are flow matched...  The SE catalog doesn't mention if their injectors kits are flow matched or what there + or - tolerances are. Based on the pricing that I've found, there is a significant difference in price between the SE and HPI injectors.  If the HD injectors are good enough for your use, I'm sure that they be more just fine for my application.

Didn't read back to see if Marren had been mentioned earlier in the thread.  If not already considered might call them.  They offer flow matched pairs.

It's been a long time since I checked this so don't trust my memory with certainty.  Think I remember, however, that HD specs that their injectors are +/- 4% from the mean.  Marren matches pairs at +/- 2% from each other.  That can difference can be significant.
