C2C Project-- 2006 CVO owners survey- all years
« on: September 21, 2006, 02:49:19 PM »

Nothing as detailed as the previous survey by no means. But I just received and sent this second one out. Via-email both ways.

I was so impressed with the polling (read: consumer trends tracking) effort that I printed out several copies of that later on the best softest paper that would go through the printer (and left them as emergeny papers next to the porcelain throne).

OUCH Don!!
 I thought just a tad bit more feed back from us, MAY have been usefull to them. I was somewhat surprised how fast it was done. Couple quick, non- threatening questions, done!!

I know Mark, I know.  And we should give them credit for trying sometimes.  So many of these types of efforts are really nothing but consumer and marketing trends research masquerading as polls to ostensibly let a company how we feel.  Harley especially has seemed to never ask a consumer question that wasn't or couldn't pretty obviously be geared to later selling stuff.  But you're right.  When even a small effort is made we ought to give credit where it's due.  So, Harley, I'm sorry man.  I didn't really wipe my butt with your poll.

I just got mine on the 28th of Sept;

Dear Valued CVO Customer,

You were recently invited to participate in the 2006 Custom Vehicle Operations Customer Event held at the Sturgis rally in Rapid City, SD. For those of you who were able to attend, I wanted to thank you for your participation. The CVO team had a great time talking to you about your motorcycles, listening to your riding stories, and showing you the new CVO offerings we have recently launched. For those of you who were unable to attend, we hope you can join us next year.

We are very interested in learning more about your opinions related to the CVO product line, and the CVO event. For that purpose we have partnered with a research team at Oregon State University to get your feedback.  This information will help us create more enjoyable experiences for our valued CVO owners in the future.

Please take a minute and fill out the survey found at: http://globaltestmarket.com/survey/s.phtml?E_51880_95260FC19294E7C5
Paste the URL into your web browser and the survey should open immediately.  To have your opinions included in our planning process, we will need you to complete the survey by October 9th.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your opinions, and I look forward to seeing you in Sturgis next year!

Sincerely,

Bob Farchione
