Ah yes just clicked yours is silver

I think the red ones should go all of the way down....it lace laid over the fender where asthe black and silver tins are hand polished.

Just checked mine out and  the polished section only goes as far as the "flattened" semi circular portion that sits under the riders seat . Can't see it at all with seat on though , so no real issue as far as I'm concerned .

Yep....thats as far as mine goes too.  I got to thinking about it....if the seat rubs and its bare metal, it will rust, maybe thats their thinking?

This is what mine looks like under seat not polished all the way down but seat covers it  by the way what a pain in the a... to get glue off from the protective plastic

I sure hope the aftermarket seat manufactures take this into consideration when making there seats

hate for the to design a seat on a red or yellow bike only to find it doesn't cover the polished area on the Black / Silver
