Saddlebag lid organizer with speakers
« on: April 01, 2013, 01:28:20 PM »

About the only downside I have found with my SG is the lack of storage for little things you want handy. I have a windshield bag...but had gotten used to the saddlebag lid organizers on the traded-in Ultra....so I cut one that I had kept from the Ultra in half and put it on the back end of the left lid. I might end up putting the other half on the front wall of the right bag...I think it'll be quite un-intrusive.

With the 'stand-off' removed...I took it off with my Dremel....in 3 'sessions' as it was getting a little warm and wanted to take no chances of seeing anything in the paint on the other side.

Not in pic...but, I put a dab of hot clue on the thread ends to keep them from unravelling.

Thats cool, since you already had the organizers. I got the lid tethers with pouches to solve the same problem.

Next time I'm in the 'South', I think I'll get one of those too.

I'm using this to store cellphones, digital camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc...
