It wasn't a question, it was a statement. In fact my entire post seems to have been misinterpreted.

I get it, BB.  Instead of all the knee jerk reactions so prevalent all week long about who did it, what religion they were, what color they were, conspiracy theories flung about with no evidence to support any of them, idiots on the radio who seem to wear tin foil hats all the time making wild claims, people need to chill out and find out what the hell happened and why.  It's not like these two just stepped off the boat last week....one had a green card (not easy to get) and the other is a naturalized U.S. Citizen.  Both have been here for YEARS, college students (at least at one time or another), and at least one of them seemed to be well adjusted, from reports of classmates, teammates, etc.  The truth of the matter is nobody knows chit right now, and it will likely be a while before the entire story is told.  THEN we can hopefully find ways to at least attempt an understanding of WHY.  Nothing is gained by those who are foaming at the mouth...only through some lengthy discussion and a process of discovery will anything be learned from this tragic event, and hopefully ways to prevent something similar in the future.  We live in a complicated world and things are rarely black or white.

Thats the truth!  We live in a country controlled by liberal thinking where all your mistakes are someone elses fault, always someone else to blame.  Young people think differently today, I was raised with fear and respect and respect and fear!

Right on brothers.  Now if we can do something about the lawyers, TSA, Homeland Insecurity and the FBI and politicians some of us old farts can make a few recommendations about personal responsibilities.

Yep....maybe they should focus on "entertainment control" rather than "gun control".  You know that's not going to happen though, that's a freedom of expression!

Like the way you think.  Doesn't gun control imply that you can hit your target the first time?  I wonder if these turds had submitted to background checks...yeah, right!

Sociopaths or psychopaths are not easily understood.  Mix in some weird ultra dogmatic religious beliefs, add hatred for those who do not do as that socio/psychopath wishes, and filter that through a warped or miseducated mind that is not by any stretch of the imagination matured, and you get in this case what appears to be Islamist extremists who wish to blow the hell out of innocents.  Even Bill Mahrer http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4YG_mqZJKcM , as addled as he usually is, gets this much.  Not all religions are the same.  Not all people who are strict adherents to their religions are the same. But if a person is a strict believer in certain ultra violent facets of what some say is a deadly perversion of a radicalized Islamist belief, then you get folks killing folks in the name of religion.

People try to dance around the obvious way too much these days.  Afraid they might accidentally offend, they parse words and use phony PC speak.  I have less use for these wussified morons than I used to years ago, and then I was not exactly the patient type.  There is evil in the world, there is good in the world.  What these 2 guys in Boston did was pure evil.  Other parts of the world deal with this stuff on an almost daily basis.  Here in the US we do not, it is the exception.
