Apparently the cars in the oncoming lane were part of a funeral procession - which is why the cars in the right lane were pulling over and stopping.

Does Tennesse have a law requiring vehicles to stop for funeral processions, even oncoming funeral processions? 

It was wise of the bikes to pull off the edge of the road, instead of stopping in the road like the car that was impacted...

The riders were lucky.  In addition, the Nissan driver was lucky that the scooter riders had the gopro running...will make great evidence in court.  I would just about bet that The Dakota driver was either talking on his cell or texting.

Cody is the guy on the bike with the helmet cam, who the truck went buy.  I have met him, friend of a good friend of mine. 

Very Scary to say the least.
