I just got my 1st Harley and I got the 06 se vrod. I want to know of a quick connect windshield and Is there anywhere to find a backrest with mounting plate, I see they say they r obsolete? On the windshield I see a guy on ebay has one that quick clamps on the forks but it is for a 09 muscle do you know if the fork tubes are the same size and if this would work?
Do you know of a cam that would chop at an idle and not effect the performance or have to do any other mods?  Thanks guys for your advise and help in advance

I have both quick release windshield and mini backrest and mounting bracket on my 05.  Not sure if they are the same.  Let me know if you want pics or p/n and I'll dig up receipt.  All HD parts.

The rear sissy bar is NOT the same for sure but the windshield would be if its still available!

I will take pics and look for part number this weekend.  The windshield has been off v-rod sitting in utility room since I last road her last May.  A little too dirty for a photo!  Time to clean her up.
