No Gary he stayed in until we got it put out...... Pulled it back in the box put a new steering wheel (electronics) on and restarted it without going a lap down! :2vrolijk_21:
Crew chief sent the car after the tires were changed before we were done fueling! The new cars now will not allow the cars to go into gear with the fuel probe in the car! Great safety feature for the new 2012 car!

Good one Gary! It happened all to often,just no fix until last year!
This was the end result with 24 laps to go the same year! Not a good result!

This was last years result with Mike Conway behind the wheel as a result of a bad pit stop hitting his r rear tire changer and his fueler. The fueler fell over the nose onto the rf wing breaking it without being noticed until he was getting up to speed and radioed in the car didn't feel right and just that quick the rear came around and was collected by Penske's Will Power causing this very scary crash much similar to the crash that took Dan Wheldons life the year before in Las Vegas.
