Clutch Cable Leaking Fluid (2003 Softtail)
« on: June 05, 2013, 10:08:43 AM »

Hello all,

I have been chasing a leak for the past couple months.  After a long ride I would get a small puddle under the bike.  Well today I finally found where it was coming from, the clutch cable adjuster.  Any tips on how to solve this issue?

Replace the clutch cable. Transmission fluid has worked it way into it.

Found the problem...  The Transmission vent was plugged solid with crap.  Good thing is that it is time either way to change the fluids.
