Ext Warranty $
« on: June 02, 2013, 10:31:34 AM »

How much is the Extended Warranty for an FLHTCUSE8?  Its Sunday morning and was just wondering?  When I put the money down I laughed at him when he tried to sell it to me.  Now since I am all calmed down from spending an outrageous amount of money, I'm thinking about the warranty.   ???

I did some research and negotiated the price down. I wanted to give my dealer the business as they are a good shop and I realize they need to make some money as well. But I did not want to pay full price for it. I agree for this amount of money spent on the bike I wanted the protection. Getting it from my dealer was great and also they include any mods done to the bike at purchase. I got the 7 year with tire and wheel for $1,700. I already picked up a nail in my front tire and got it replaced at the dealer for free. Maybe I will never need it again but in my opinion it is well worth it, especially if you drive a lot

I believe it is worth what ever the cost. I put 3 radios in my 2007 Street glide that cost me $900 plus dollars.

I will prob get one.  I need to see if my dealer will give me at least 20% off.  If not I will search around.  I also need to get my wife an warranty for her TriGlide.

Not to worry... You may (probably will) get notification from H-D (Dealer) to come in and extend the ESP. I received such notification prior to the end of my ESP that I could bring my bike in and extend my ESP. There was some provisions (don't remember them exactly) but I believe there was a mileage limitation. :nixweiss:

Unless something has changed the mileage limitation to extend your ESP is 75,000 - must be under that at time of expiry in order to extend.  Sure wish they would eliminate that restriction as I am way over that with only 6 months left on the ESP on my '07.
