Brake and Clutch Levers for Hydraulic Clutch bikes
« on: June 18, 2013, 05:54:36 PM »

Hopefully someone here can tell me what the difference is??  Because when I ask at the dealer, all they can say is "because the book says so???" I wanted to get the Edge cut levers to match the mirrors I bought to match the Heavy Breather on my new 2013 CVO RG and the book says they won't work with the hydraulic clutch.

Now I realize that it doesn't use a cable, but what exactly is the reason it won't work, and does anyone know of something close to what I'm looking for that will work??

Thanks in advance!!!

Brake lever should work. Clutch lever has a tit that pushes on the piston to move the fluid so as to activate the clutch. Unlike a cable clutch lever that pulls the cable.  :o

Possibly because one must pull a cable and the other pushes a plunger?

The Clutch Handle has a Roller that presses on the Clutch Master Cylnder.
