Tire mounting labor
« on: July 05, 2013, 11:56:29 PM »

What is the usual charge to ride in and have front and rear tires replaced?  Dealer quoted me $170 labor.  Am getting 15% off tire retail price, but thought labor was high.  2009 FLTRSE3

Is that $170 for both, I pay $150 ea.  They had a sale last May, $60 install each and 20% off the tires so I pre-purchased.

If you feel like a couple hundred mile to Joplin the labor could be free.  Well, maybe a six pack of beer.  But probably free.

Local dealer here in Miami gets 40.00 if you buy the tires there.   Worth it to me.  Mounted and balanced properly.

Two lane, I'm going to look you up next time...  I ride to Arkansas several times a year.  Thanks for the offer.  The dealer also charged me $10 per wheel for Dyna Beads.

Not a problem at all.  Feel free to give a yell.
