Lyndall or OEM for 2011 SESG?
« on: July 01, 2013, 12:26:44 AM »

I have always ran Lyndall pads on previous bikes, but after searching a little it looks as if some people haven't been real happy with them on later model bikes? So the question is, Lyndall or OEM?? Z Pads or Gold?

Thanks for your input,

Scott

I run the Lyndall Gold+ pads front and rear, and I really like them. Way less brake dust than the stock pads, and lots of stopping power.

I am interested in hearing from others who have had any issues with them.

EBC HH Sintered pads are the best I've used.....Far better than the Lyndalls in the wet.

I put Lyndalls on my 09 USE4 because of how great they were on my 2000 RK.
I will be going back to HD pads on the 09 when the Lyndalls wear out.

On my 2005, they were a great improvement.  On the 2010 they are not as great an improvement if any (lyndhall z pad)..

They do have a lot less brake dust though than the stock pads.

I have used both a number of times on my 08 SERK, the first set of HD pads made a lot of brake dust.  The last time I had to use the OEM's and they were not that bad.  I will go back to the Lyndalls but to me they are not that much better unless you could afford to replace the rotors & pads then you might have a significant improvement.  Never tried the EBH HH brand though! Anybody else have info on the EBC for Boatman?
