Yeah, old post but I'm about to put this exhaust on my bike and maybe I'm a dumbass but what's the need to spray the inside of the ghost pipe with paint???
If you look at the picture from Reply #1 you'll see there is a definite difference in the inside of the pipe color on the ghost pipe. Painting the inside will make it appear as exhaust is actually exiting out the pipe.

Look at the picture from the rear of the bike and compare the two pipe openings, realizing he hasn't really put many miles on the bike yet.  The ghost pipe will always look brand new, while the real muffler will turn black from combustion deposits.  Painting the inside of the ghost pipe just makes it look like a real muffler.  After all, if you didn't care about making it look like a real dual muffler setup, you wouldn't have spent the extra cash for a fake muffler.
