2011 electra CVO motor oil ring problem

28,000 miles 2011 CVO Electra bike was also cracked oil ring. Harley said a manufacturing defect. All treatments are made ​​authorized service. Faced with such a problem Is there?

What remedy is the service facility offering?

it is not under waranty :-(
service said production error for oil ring.

If it was a production error AND they admitted it,  will the repairs be billed to you?

I hope they will not make you pay for a rebuild.
