I'm thinking you've typo'd the make of plug and you are really asking about NGK's... if so you may want to take a look at this thread - 110 CI - NGK plugs.

Good info in that thread.  I run the 8's in higher compression builds and 7's are my stock replacement plug.  I can't comment on the iridium plug's because I don't use them.  I don't see the benefit.  With EFI you don't see the problem of the past of fouled or eroded plugs.  Gapping and spark events is different topic.

I've had NGK Iridums in my 103 for almost 6000 miles.  I ran the for about a 1000 miles befor I did my upgrades and they didn't really effect the pinging.  But they also didn't glaze the way the oem plugs did.  Now after tuning it, they look like they were run in a car engine, no signs of heat or fouling.  DCPR7EIX is the part number.  Most jobbers use the stock number which is 6046.

We used nothing but NGK's here, for over 15 years now.

Well I got to put 50 miles on them and I got to say they work good no pinging even at 2000 rpm now it was not to hot out only about 85*

Been running them for a little over a year, can't tell any difference other than burn color.

::)   The brand of spark plug screwed into the hole is highly unlikely to change the detonation characteristics of the engine.  Anyone looking to fix a pinging problem needs to do a little more than just change brands of plugs.

No Jerry, haven't you read here somewhere how these NGK plugs can add up to 10 HP?   ::)

;D   Yes, I've seen all kinds of claims for plugs and wires.  My favorite so far is the Pulstar (sp?).  That sucker will add ten horsepower, last several hundred lifetimes, keep your windshield clean, and cure hemorrhoids.  I'm impressed! (not)

:confused5:    Not exactly sure where you're going with that Phil, but it sounded like you have something else on your mind besides engines and spark plugs.  Perhaps you'd like to clarify?

Sorry I'm a little late on this one but Jerry, don't those pulstars also eliminate all that nasty engine heat from which we are in constant search of relief?
