New exhaust question?

 I just got home and installed my new Vance& Hines Power duels with the 4" monster rounds :bananarock:. I have an appointment for Friday morning to get it mapped and tuned :jalapeno:. Will it hurt anything if I ride it till friday before I get it tuned and mapped :nixweiss:.

With a less restrictive exhaust, the motor will likely run lean and hot.

OK, thanks, I was hoping to go for a ride around town tomorrow if the rain permitted. I guess I will wait, I don't want to mess anything up.

I had just the opposite thought, that it may run rich. I only say this because I changed out the pipes on my '07 and rode it a bit before it was tuned and it ran rich, you could smell the gas. Either way I don't think it will hurt anything if you ride it some, wouldn't take off on a long trip though.
