cvo Breakout - new Pipes
« on: August 04, 2013, 04:21:05 PM »

If any of you have put Big Radius pipes on, do you find they widen your clearance of leg to ground, by sticking further out from side of bike than stock pipes? I've lowered my CvoBO and customized the seat to accommodate my 5'0 stature and don't want to lose what Ive accomplished!!

my BR 2:2 certainly does not, but I seem to remember the 2:1 on my old bike did stick our further than stock due to the sheer diameter of the pipe...

I am 6'6" so I probably would not have noticed any wider stance though...

I have the Big Radius 2 into 1, I'm 5' 11' / 210 LBS, (Large Calves) and these pipes do stick out further than the stock.
If I'm not paying attention while standing in traffic my right calf gets a might too close and I can feel the heat through the pants leg.
Never had that problem on the stock exhaust.
Hope this helps,
Garr

But it's worth it though, right? By far, the absolute best looking 2:1 I've ever seen...People used to ask me all the time if they were custom....very rare I ever see them even though they have been out for a number of years...and that low rumble is intoxicating, plus the power bump is icing on the cake!

Outstanding...I remember seeing my first Carbon a few years ago during the Mid-Ohio ALMS/Indy Car weekend it was in the Corvette tent-was it the first year of the C6 Z06, 2006 maybe?....awesome color.  I have a frumpy old 2004 with a few mods, but it's a great track car....I had to have the last of the flip-up lights and coupe designs...my favorite body style after the '63 split window Z06-A Zora masterpiece...maybe we can hook up sometime....talking Harley's and Corvette's...what could be better ?!
