If everything I read on the internet is not true, then that might mean that everything I read in the newspaper is not true, & everything I see on tv is not true, & everything I hear at Ye Olde Bar Stool Beer Hangout any fine upstanding beverage emporium is also not true.  My dreams are now somewhat shattered by the crushing weight of my forgotten ambitions.

I don't think this part is true - even though I read it on the internet  :huepfenlol2:

My first trickle charger was so smart, after a month or so of usung it it started smoking then shooting sparks when I hooked it up.  The nice folks at Battery Mart & Bettery Tender sent me a new one.  So far it has not caught fire or exploded & my batteries are well tended.

The part above is true.  The part about the dreams & ambitions earlier was on the internet but was not in the newspaper or on tv, so it might be less than true. Will check the bar to make sure.

I've always had excellent luck with the Deltran Battery Tenders and I currently have one of their 4 bank stations that all the bikes are connected to whenever they are parked here at home.
I also have a Schumacher fancy shmancy 10/6/2 Amp combination fast charger/trickle charger/automatic float charger-monitor. This one works great for  bringing a drained battery back to life since some "smart chargers" will not replenish a fully drained battery - like one that won't even crank over the engine on the lawn tractor.

I have had problems with some other brands that just quit working after 1 or 2 seasons of use..

I would X2 that and go further to say that my bike stays under the cover and hooked up to the battery tender whenever it's parked... and we all know (at least think) it stays parked a lot. ::) :P ;D
