Another '07 Red/Black Has Landed

Just came from my dealer. My '07 Red/Black SE Ultra arrived about 3:00 this afternoon. I was out riding my RK and missed the call on my cell phone. By the time I checked my voicemail messages and got over to the dealer, they had already uncrated it and had it hiding in the back. The nerve of them to proceed with the birthing without daddy being present.

It was already 5:00 and they were not through with the prep so I just stared at it for a few minutes and sat on it too. Sure is pretty in person. The pictures just don't do these paint jobs justice. Not real radical paint, but very classy and rich in color and tones. The golden pearl transition between the black and red is awesome. Also the red backlighting on the gauges looks really neat too.

I pick her up at 9:00 tomorrow. She will be broken in by Sunday sometime. After that the Stage I A/C, SERT, and V&H ovals go on her and we will see how she can really run.

As soon as I am tired of riding her I will take some pics and try to post. Will probably have to get my son to help w/ the pic posts. I can barely turn on the computer.

I don't mind stepping on Mr. Big's toes...nor he, mine!   We go back a LONG way.   Maybe buy him a cold one if I get dusted....OK by me!

You are going to need it. That 110 really does run. Can't wait to see what she will do after the SERT, mufflers and STAGE I. Hope you have a good bar tab!!! Was hard to keep her under 80 today. Everytime I looked down I was going about 15-20 MPH faster than it seemed, and it gets there quick too.

I know NO ONE has slept since I announced the upcoming Battle of the Big Bores in August....'06 103 vs '07 110.   Well, the event occurred this weekend on a lightly traveled road somewhere in the TX-OK boonies.  After numerous runs, missed shifts, bounced rev-limiters, etc....the results are in:  basically a tie!  Both have Stage One mods and whoever got the initial jump won the race.  Neither could pull the other with let off in the 110mph range.  Ace, reckon I still owe you a beer cause it was such a fantastic day to enjoy the company of friends!  [smiley=drink.gif]  Oh yeah, we both got dusted by a "finely tuned 95in Deuce"  :'(  Now where is Zipper's number?

O Crap, that is exactly what I was afraid of.  Now what?  Dusted by a 95?  My bud has a "finely tuned" 88 to 103 w stage 2 and secret stuff, and it screams,  I hope someone opens the money spigot to make a 110 worthy of its number. At least better than a slightly hopped up SE103 06 CUSE.
