Any way to recalibrate HK volume control increments?
« on: September 09, 2013, 01:26:31 AM »

I use ear bud speakers so I can block wind noise and hear music clearly.  Problem is, two bars of volume isn't loud enough, but three is too much (well, not on those really good songs). Can the HK head unit be adjusted to have a smaller increase between each bar?  TIA

If you are playing from an Ipod...try adjusting the volume on the Ipod...turn it way down so that the HK head  increments are smaller as well.

that would work only if you are using the aux input on the radio.  if you are using an ipod controller, the volume on the ipod is completely bypassed and has no effect.

Thanks for the info and suggestions. It's a FLTRUSE, so the iPod is not through the aux input.

Besides, who ever heard of trying to reduce the volume?   :o
