Beagle's gone ridin
« on: November 05, 2006, 12:51:09 PM »

Stop the presses, hold the news, after 8 weeks of sittin lonely and forgotten in my garage, Beagle's Cherry Bomb is about to be fired up and taken out on a nice little 150 mile ride around Dago county. Guess he's finally got Martha Stewart out of his system and got that great motorcycle fever goin again. He's on his way over here as I type this. Been so long I had to put his battery on a trickle charge. Anyway, all is well in Dagotown if the Big Beagle is on his bike.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

This site is a weird place.  Where else would a couple guys spend all day riding together and hanging around, having a good time, then go home and sit down and talk about it online  [smiley=drink.gif] .

(Wish I'd had a day like that.)

You guys keep all this talking up about how good it is there that might just happen. As if it isn't crowded enough there already.

d00d,
Here's some information for you. California's about 1,000 miles long and 250 miles wide. 90% of the 47,000,000 people who live here all live within 50 miles of the coast. There's a lot of open land out here d00d, just depends on where you want to live. The desert's really only a bitch for about 4 months a year. Say you had a place back east on a little pond or something you could spend summers at. You could live out in Borrego or someplace like that here for 7 or 8 months a year and you'd be fine d00d, real fine. Me and Beags were only 40 miles outa Dago and ridin 6,200 feet up through a forest of Ponderosa pine with only a handful of other folks on Sunrise Highway on an absolutely perfect SoCal November Sunday. Only waited in line for pie for about 5 minutes and d00d you ain't never had pie till you've had Julian pie. Don't buy into that crowded chit buddy. It's a freakin big state.

Sounds to me like Big B is promoting the 2008 Western CVO Gathering for California.

A big coast to coast ride for the eastern members. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif]

Well, Big B did it West to East to West, so he inspired me enough to know that I can ride East to North West and back to East again for the 2007 Western Rally.

Brian,

You're not lying about the weather or where the people live.  Up here in the Bay Area, AK and I did some riding yesterday.  Around 80 inland and about 70-75 along the coast.  By the way, when you come up next spring I have to take you to the pie place in Watsonville!
