Congrats, Jerry!  That's one fine 'sickle!

Did you look at the Boss Hoss trikes before you bought yours?  I don't know how you could've resisted one of those sweet rides!   :nervous:

Enjoy your new ride for many safe, enjoyable years!  After all, a Jazzy scooter isn't far down the road after a trike...  :'(

No, I did not look at the Boss Hoss trikes. That 300+ cubic inch motor is tooooooo much. Don't get me wrong, they are nice machines...just not for me.

Oh so right Greg. ;)

My wife has been battling some sciatic nerve issues this year and trying to climb on the CVO Road Glide was becoming a real problem. She likes the flatfooted stability when boarding the trike. Gotta keep the BSR happy.  :)

I'm sure your going to enjoy your trike, nice looking bike. I have been reading a lot about the new 14' Can-Am Spyder RT's and that might be my next bike. Dealer said they will be here late Oct early Nov. Will know after the test ride. It is completely new for 2014 with all new "LOW" maintenance 1330 ACE 3 cylinder motor with 40% more torque, oil changes now every 9,300 miles, 252 mile fuel range, double radiators hidden in front that eliminated the heat issue, lowered the rpm range with 6 speed trans, stability control system, traction control, ABS linked brakes (operates with one brake pedal), dynamic  power steering, power windshield, push button adjustment for the suspension, heated grips for the rider and passenger, anti-theft system and many more goodies. SWEET.

Congrats Jerry for the new bike/trike....sooner or later some of us will get there. As matter as fact i am thinking to get one for my trip to Alaska. Martha and me want to make that trip wihout worries. Pull a trailer with jackets, extra gas, etc. We can stop anywhere, take pictures and ride on gravel roads without any stress......

Have not visited for awhile. Been too busy riding. Got a little over 1000 miles in just over 2 weeks!  :bananarock: Gotta admit, it was a bit of an adjustment. Can't be as aggressive in turns as I was on a 2 wheeler. But, the BSR likes the ease in getting on...and off. Plus, so nice not having to worry about gravel...dips in parking lots...the list goes on and on. Here is a pic of yours truly and his new toy.

Once again, thanks for the kind words and encouragement.

Nice ride Jerry.  Glad to hear from you and how it is going.  Post some more pics of the three wheeler up close.  Planning any mods?

sidecars set up PROPERLY run just fine , two finger steering, fine in winds.

99% are set up HORRIBLY...

cause? most folks have some wild fantasy that they want to be able to take the sidecar off and ride the bike solo - so they set the bike up as a solo bike and then its a HORRIBLE sidecar bike. harley sidecar setups prior to 84 were very good - after that they can suck because of the solo bike fantasy. [prior to 84 they could be ordered from the factory with a adjustable front tree]

to make them run perfect - you install a trike tree & then either change the gearing to trike gearing or never use high gear [stock 5th is about the same as trike 6th] then they run fine and will hold speed on cruise at 80 just fine.
