It would be your best interest to check the wiring harness from the side of the bag to the amplifier connection on your 2013 Road King.  I was blowing amp fuses and traced it back to a couple wires that had chafed on the metal bracket for the amp.  Harley's fix was to shrink tube the wires, fixed the problem but not the issue.  I added a piece of wire loom to keep it from happening again.

I don't have this issue but taking mine back in for service on the audio system yet again tomorrow morning. System cuts out when I go over bumps, sometimes when I turn, and when I accelerate. Its driving me nuts. Cant wait to upgrade speakers and amp in the next few weeks.

Mine had a similar issue right from the beginning and it was the controller in the lid of the saddle bag.  I could move the wires around and it would cut in and out.  It would also do the cutting in and out thing when I hit bumps then eventually whenever the hell it wanted.  Of course Harley didn't have it in stock but other than the chafed wire in the post it has worked great since.

am looking to upgrade speakers myself on cvo road king, any ideas on sum good one's? im checking out the 6 by 9 lid upgrade from biketronics, any feedback on them
