Not sure about accuracy - the red hair makes it hotter then normal  :huepfenjump3:

I had one that fit in the neck bearing cover.  The problem was, it was really measuring the temp of the big heavy chunk of metal it was attached to, so it wasn't really accurate.  If it sat in direct sun, it would stay at 125 degrees all day.  Waste of dough if you ask me.

Just mount her on the tank, facing rearward, if you really like it to read on the high side.

I've got one of those red headed ones, and its usually behind me on the ride. Trust me when I say she lets me know if shes cold. I've learned to read this gauge quite well. :drink:
