Well, after nearly 40k on her....finally thinking of fairing. Looking at Dead Center and paint using "Gene".

Q. Has anyone gone this route "Fairing in general" and ended up not liking it?

 Also...if you installed fairing...anything you would do different? I'm not looking to install a stereo...luv to listen to the scooter. Any pic's of fairing without stereo...and how you treated the empty space within.

I had a batwing faring on my roadking, made up the brackets so I could have it quick release, that way I had the choice of clear screen, batwing or no screen at all.

I had to do a search on this site to get a look at various 07's & 08's aftermarket fairings, some had the matched hard bags with the fairings etc.  I'm at that point myself, I have 70,000 miles on my 08 SERK and have reached a point where I need more wind protection.  I did find a good deal on some hard bags in gloss black, while not as nice looking as the custom paint I'm OK with it.  Keep us posted on your choice & good luck.
