I ran a set in my FLHTK.  The fit was fine, but the sound was only marginally better than stock.  There are much, much better speaker choices out there.

If you got Rockfords now, you gonna cuss the J&M. I have them in my '09 and while I'm happy, I ain't no audio nut. I will go for 600 mi rides and never cut it on. Had a new '13 SERK over a month.......................the Ipod is empty  :nixweiss:

The JM is a speaker built more for volume than tone. They make good use of the watts available, but don't sound very crisp.

IMO, for the $$$ spent, there are better options available.

BTW...my opinion and $5.00 will get you some coffee at Starbucks  ;D

If you want a crisp tone out of your J&Ms (or any speaker for that matter) get Iron Cross Audio to install preamp outs to the HK. The preamp outs bypass the amplifier section of the HK, which has always sounded 'muddy' to me.
