your guess is as good as mine (or the German Weather Bureau

) as how long this riding season may last over here

We already got some snow on the mountains 3 weeks ago, but it didn't last for the next day.
Anyhow we thought it a good idea to pick last weekend for a formal Last Mile and rode up to the old hunting grounds of the
Princes Kinsky at
Na Tokáni (sorry translation by google

), just some straight 50 m from Dresden in the czech mountains, a ride you can easily handle even in the most adverse of weather conditions (except ice of course).
It turned out to be a fine Saturday at 45-60°F, rain overnight and more or less the same friendly weather on Sunday so we did detour a little and strolled through the valleys and mountains (not real mountains though, max 500 ft., but certainly an elevation coming from the Elbe Valley at 35 ft.

).
Here are some
pictures.
