For the '09 SERG I chose the HD Premium over the Progressives for the same reasons that ultrafxr posted earlier in this thread, also I preferred the ride quality of the HD over the Progressives, the HD feels a lot more supple (smoother ride, and the front tire stays in contact with the pavement better over smaller pavement irregularities) to me, the Progressive feels a little more precise in the front than the HD, I know that "The Ball & Chain" prefers the supple ride also. My riding style is pretty aggressive, when in the twisties or the western sweepers, but living in FL, I have to pound the interstates to get to the twisties, so the HD was a really good choice for me. + after all how good are you going to make a 1/2 ton touring bike handle?

Ohlins is rumored to be bringing out forks for the HD baggers, so you might have another choice on the ultra high end of front suspension soon...
