Rear header pipe keeps coming loose on my '04 flhtcse anyone experiencing this?

Is it the header coming loose from the cylinder head, or the muffler coming loose from the header pipe?

loose at the cylinder.

Hmmm...  Never experienced a pipe coming loose at the head.  Not uncommon for a muffler to come loose from the pipe and slide back.  Off the top of my head I'd question the fasteners themselves.  Have you tried to replace the studs and nuts with new?

It's not uncommon to have to tighten the fasteners a second time after a few heat cycles on a new installation...

This was a problem on my 06 flhx after I changed to ful sac. I replaced the nuts with new ones and used split lock washers and it never happened again. When I originally found mine one nut was missing completely!!!

Which FullSac set up did you use? Was it their conversion kit? How did you like it?

It was their true dual conversion. I like it, it sounds good. I added rhinehart cans as well. They say you don't have to remap and I never did. It still runs mint with 50,000 miles. I sold it to a friend and he doesn't have a garage so it lives in mine still.
