Couldn't do anything close to that.  I can at least see my toes.  But getting close to them is another question entirely...  8)

When saw this a couple days I wondered if it was even real.  A couple of mftr PR pieces said it was; with a few qualifications.

The splits done are real (ouch).  Van whathisname is in a safety harness you can't see from the video though.  So he can't fall and die.  His feet also aren't on the mirrors.  He is in some safety cups made for his feet and attached to the side of each truck.  Also, it was shot in one take.

All this is, of course, if you believe the manufacturer PR materials.....

After observing this video,  my theory is that the whole thing was done (in reverse).   Notice that the trucks are backing up and he (starts) doing the splits as the trucks (one truck) eases a little sideways.

I think he started out (fully split).........with his legs horizontal to the ground.........then the trucks started moving (forward) and getting closer together.

Afterwards............You see that whole scenario played out in reverse order. ::)

If they were really driving backwards they would be sawing at the wheel to keep the trailer that straight!!!

Yes  it is definitely in reverse, wasn't sure why ,but either way still badazz :drink:

The PR docs specifically said it was done in reverse and was done to show off some new driving stability control system.
