Is there an easy way to richen the AFR all across the map?
« on: November 19, 2013, 02:51:10 AM »

I'm new to the TTS system, but digging in to learn.  In the meantime, had my SERGU dyno'd to check the current map.  As expected (getting 46 to 48 mpg even 2-up), it is lean across the board on the WOT runs.  Also, there's a lot of heat on my right leg/foot at the collector, even with the header (Fullsac DX), crossover pipe (Fullsac round pipe) and the muffler cores (Fullsac 2.0") upgraded. Again, it has been tuned with a TTS, and is making a maximum of 85 HP and 100 TQ.

Is there a "global" type of adjustment I can make (maybe Lambda?) to enrich the mixture everywhere?

TIA for any help

I'm running the same set up as you are. Fulsac X pipe & 2" cores. I had the SE Tuner installed & tuned by my local HD dealer 5/11. It produced 87.65 Hp & 107.40. The bike ran good but after 2.5 years I thought it was time to get it tuned by a professional. Rode down to Minneola Fl. & had Doc install the Mastertune TTS & put the super tunes to it.This man is a professional! After 2 hours of tuning my bike, He said take it for a ride. Wow! No comparison with the way it ran when I pulled in there! He completely tunes the bike, he just doesn't adjust AFR!

After the tune new #'s 93.29 HP & 115.60 TQ
It not only runs cooler, it's like riding a new bike!

I'm not trying to Jack your thread! You need to find a competent tuner that knows the TTS Tuner. You will be happy with it's performance after that!

Well the dyno tune sounds just like a stock bike with no parts or tuner added..  In the cruise range you can get very good MPG your seems higher than most. But the WOT power sounds like the bike is not fully tuned.  If you have the new blue tuner yes you can add fuel across the board it simple however it is the incorrect way to fix the issue.

Who did that tune?  Those numbers suck.  First thing I'd do is to call Steve at Fullsac and have him take a look at your map, if you have it saved.  If not, ask Steve for his map and download it to the ECM.  I ran Steve's canned map in the exact same bike and was running 112+ TQ and mid 93 HP, and the bike ran like a top.  If I ran below 65 MPH, I would get in the mid 40's MPG, and even running it hard I still got 40.  Or, find a competent tuner and get it tuned right...the operative word being "competent", which is not usually synonymous with any HD dealership tuning technician.
