Harley vs Baker Transmission Case Bearing Races

I have a 2000 FXR4 CVO 5 speed case with a Rivera-Primo 6 speed O.D. gearset. The seal around the bearing is leaking oil. Are the Baker Bearing / Races / Seals the way to go. I have 30,000 plus miles on the gearset and it leaks. I did have Harley items before. My gearset and main shaft are fine. Any advise for longevity?

In my opinion the Baker part is a better option.  You'll eliminate the pressed on race.  Since that race can walk and ruin a seal as it does so eliminating it is all gain, or at least potential gain, with no downside.

Just a note to anyone installing the Baker Bearing. Baker buys sources the bearing which are undersized and then hones the inner race for a fit.
I had one bearing that missed the honing process and fortunately I tried it on the main shaft before installing it in the primary.

It was obvious that it did not fit, but had it been installed alignment issues would have you scratching your head for a minute looking to see why the primary won't slide on.

S&S has a non-slip race,  :2vrolijk_21:  originally developed to locate their clutch assy. on the 5 speed trans. and most aftermarket 6 speeds including the MoCo . It IS the perfect solution to the walking races, and also the honed out 6205 ball bearings that have a horrible longevity problem.
