Garman
« on: November 21, 2013, 06:06:11 PM »

Has any one used the Garman with their music?  I am adding handlebar powered speakers and amp so I can use the Garman to play some tunes. The mount for the garman is in the perfect spot and the little amp hides under the seat.

I have used both my old Zumo 550 as well as the 660 as an MP3 player.  Just need to add the memory card.  Work great.

If it is the Garmin Road Tech 660 (and I do think that is what came with your bike) you need a micro SD card.

Most of the micro SD cards I have seen come with a standard size SD card adapter.  More useable with this adapter.  The micro card is very tiny so would make sure if not in your device the case is used to store it,

Insert the card and leave it there.  Load music  by plugging the GPS into the computer.

If you leave the card in your Zumo, & are updating, make sure the update goes to the Zumo unit & not the card.  The card will show as a separate drive on your computer.
