t t t t t t sound
« on: November 28, 2013, 04:47:09 PM »

That's the best way I can describe it. It has made this annoying noise over the regular engine noise like a rattatat since day 1.  is it the lifters or what? Have the 110 engine, had the Andrews 57h cams, I believe, think it is the original lifters, the noise did not change after the other stuff did.

My first & last CVO, Scarlett, arrived 6-1-12. I always remember my mom while riding.  She had smarts with a spirit of independence & adventure. "You Gotta LIVE!", was her motto; her favorite color red, and she loved BLING.

You're likely hearing valve train noise...  Have you informed your dealer?

I agree that what you are describing may very well be valvetrain noise.

Try the stethoscope trick with a screwdriver.
Sometimes it can give you a much better idea of where the problem is.
Gives you a bit of satisfaction when you go back to the dealer.

"I think its one of the rear lifters , could be the exhaust !"
