Looking for ideas,.....
« on: January 17, 2014, 04:06:19 PM »

My bike is lowered (2006 CVO Ultra).

To compensate for the change in lean angle I installed a wedged plate from JP Cycles under the jiffy stand bracket. It works great, and I don't have to lean way over to the right when up righting the bike and retracting the Jiffy Stand. The only side effect (pun intended) is that the Jiffy Stand hangs a bit when retracted. It no longer fits snug against the frame.

Today I went to the dealer to see if there are any shorter jiffy stand springs, perhaps off other bikes. There are none. So I am using a bit of black Velcro as a temp fix to hold it up for now.

I was wondering if anyone else with a lowered bike has come up with a solution.

Thanks!
