No VIN yet.
« on: November 17, 2006, 11:45:22 AM »

Just got off the phone w/ the dealer. They said that HD is running behind in "testing and shipping" department. She said that they will not issue a VIN until the bike is ready to be crated and put on the truck. Coukd take upto another week  :(.  Oh well. I don't want them rushing the "testing" process.

Good things come to those who wait.  Patience is a virture.  Does that help?  Didn't think so.  I feel for you but you'll forget all about it when the big day finally arrives.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Oh Man...I feel for ya.  Are you tossing and turning in bed with sleepless nights?   [smiley=nervous.gif]

Don't worry...it'll all be worth it when you roll on the throttle for the first time as you ride away from the dealership.  Think of it as all part of "the H-D Experience".

Most importantly, ENJOY IT!!

Congrats,

It's 2:40 in the morning on a Friday night lying next to Sassy & Shelby (both snoring) reading this message board; does that answer your question?

Wow, it's 4:12 AM and you're still here. Brother you need to hurry up and get your scooter so you will have a reason to get some sleep so you can ride the next day. ;D

I figured you were home since you weren't online. Hope the tour is going well & you're back safe. I guess its back to movies til the next call?

got a blue ultra @ Smaltz HD Eagle PA and a B/O at Valley Forge HD in Montgomery PA. Both MSRP. both on the floor as of this note. Can't sell a bike in PA on Sunday so go for it!. Good luck both great dealers. [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif] be safe
Once you get them in the garage you can't sleep cause you want to look at them and ride them. AMAZING.
enjoy

Hope you had a good flight back. I was supposed to be in Hotlanta this week for the IAAPA show (coin-operated video games). And yeah this waiting stincks!

Missed the tornado that came through and most of the rain 3 inches an hour.

Then went to LA for the day and back home, other than being beat from the travel I'm home safe and sound.

Hope this week brings a VIN and ship date.

:'(  Eight more days & my Chery & Black Ice Jester is supposed to ship.....a long eight days.....I keep going out to the garage & look at the empty spot where my '06 SEUC used to be parked...big old empty spot.....to be filled soon!!!!!  It is going to be a cold ride home...but that is why it has heated grips & seat, right.....

No, I am really not that excited.... [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]   [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]   [smiley=banana.gif]   [smiley=jalapeno.gif]   ;D   :P   ;D   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]   [smiley=banana.gif]   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]   [smiley=jalapeno.gif]

Hard,
I definitely sympathize with you.  I didn't think mine was ever going to get here.  That was the longest three months of my life waiting for the dealer to call me and tell me it was ready for pickup.  I think my dealer knows me by sight now...LOL.  I know I bugged them enough.  But it as all worth it.  The first time I hiked my leg over and fired up that 110 ten with those V&H ovals, it was pure heaven!!!  Then I let that hydraulic clutch out a little too fast and killed the engine!!!!  LOL.  Haven't done that since.  That clutch does take a little geting used to.  Very quick engagement point.  It will all be over soon and then you'll be riding with that chit-eatin ear-to-ear grin, just like I was.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]
