On my last two or three Harleys,  I've installed and used the Back Off  module as an added safety feature.

Those of you familiar with this product,  know that it allows you to wire in and create a "flashing" sequence when you apply the brakes.  Here is my (potential) problem.  My past Harleys.......Road Kings and an Ultra....all had separate  turn signal lights.

Now that I have received the package I ordered,  the Back Off XP module (works with both LED and incandescent bulbs),  but on the back side of the package,  it says  "Warning",  these modules are not compatible with lights that are a combination brake light and turn signal.

On the Street Glide,  that is exactly what I have (combination brake light/turn signal).

Anyone else run into this problem or know of a work around to solve it.

I now see they have an 800 Tech Support number for Mon thru Friday......I'll check with them this week.

Looks like they have the solution that will work for me.  I will contact them if the Back Out folks cannot fix me up.

I have looked into this as well and have spoken to tech support at CD.  They told me that the wiring of the rear tail light assembly is no longer a separate wire, and therefore their current brake modulator will not work on the 2014's.  They are currently looking into other options but are still several months away.  if and when you find a solution please let us know as I am sure there are more than a few that would like this feature.
