i was told the ship date was 10-24-06

turns out my salesman called hd cvo today and there saying its still in process and the saleman ask what that mean they said its still on the line somewhere anyone else getting same run around was told in sept.
i had a ship date of 10-24-06 my saleman called 2 times last week same
thing just want my bike whats up?????? >:( :( :( :( >:( :( :(

Don't take it personally. Other then those that have been lucky enough to walk into a dealer and find the bike sitting on the floor I would think there have been more then not that have had to wait past the "promised" date. If you ask me it's one of those "anticipation makes the heart grow fonder" deals. The longer they keep you anticipating/wanting your scooter the fonder you will be of it, and also the more time you will have to find "must have stuff" for it. Which will mean more revenue for MoCo/dealer. Hang in there before you know it, it will be here, and you will be in the wind. Remember looking back after enjoying it, is a going to be a lot easier then looking ahead waiting on it once you get it.

the wait is killing me i live near chicago and next week is going to be above 70-- hard to handle
my friend just got his se full dresser and order after me his only 2 weeks late pray for me

roadking2007black, I am in the same situation as you and FireDood is right after you receive it, the wait time wont be thought about. My Smurf was "estimated shipping Oct 13", it was finally shipped yesterday. dealer was originally told a 2-3 week delay.  While your waiting, read all you can on this site, make a checklist to go over your bike when it comes in. this is what I am doing... be careful, these guys like to help us spend money ;D.

I ordered the b/b CVO ultra (nicknamed Smurf). The deliveries here in Los Angeles have been delayed, may have been due to a dunlop tire strike. The Screaming Eagle Road King is a really nice bike, if I didnt already have 2 nice road king's I probably would have gotten that instead of the Ultra.It will get here soon and when it does it will be an early Xmas present for you:) I know the waiting sucks!!

i know its killing me getting the black ice roadking i got my friends se ultra in my garage he doesn,t have heated garage took it for ride today you will love your

My original build date was 09/25 and HD changed such to 10/12. It was actually built 10/11 and delivered to dealer in Tennessee 6 days later. Since these bikes are hand built, any problem with parts, paint, etc... can delay all SERKs being built.  Don't rely on ship dates...HD doesn't know ship dates until the bike is actually built. My dealer was able to give me schedued build date, not ship date. I have a friend in Dallas which the dealer told his ship date was 10/24. As of today, the dealer doesn't know a new ship date and cannot tell my friend the build date. Ask your dealership to check on build date. Your patience will be well rewarded. MY black SERK is awesome and my anxiety from waiting is gone.

i know but my frinds coming over today and grabbing his bike to going riding
just wish they would tell me more than in process but i guess it better than the orther 10 people who gave my dealer 1000 deposit if i dont buy this one well there wasting time i got my money ready

   got the call from salesman 8:30 am didnt even think they started that early he said my bike is built and sitting on the dock waiting to be shipped
well thats alot better than still in process only can hope they get a truck load soon

i got the call last thursday night saying it was there went got my bike thursday they even trailer my bike to my house that night it was raining i got ext warrtany 7 years with tire and rim for $1500.00
they wanted 1900.00 but i got them down to 1500.00 i love the bike it was 45 nice and cold i put 50 miles on it today friday night i wax everything .anybody got info on bag that goes on back with seat rest buit in is it worth it

just a up date 300 miles on living near chicago weather not bad went to hd dealer today they had 1000 raffle had to be there well i didnt get it but wife spent 600 bucks 25% off day

Congratulations!!!  I had that tour pack on my road king classic and loved it.  It's not as big as the king tour pack but you can get a lot in it if you pack carefully.  My son (150 lbs.) rides behind me and he appreciates the back rest more than a sissy bar.
