If a Street Glide is still too high, then get a Dyna Low Rider or something, or get some built-up boots. Lowering a SG any lower than it already comes is just inviting disaster...

Wow! I lowered my FLHXSE 1" front & rear and yes I do have to pay close attention in the corners at speed. It is definitely not for the novice rider. Recently purchased air suspension and will see how that rides once installed. I have always wished I was less vertically challenged but as usual there is no magic genie to grant those types of wishes and all others requires deep pockets.

Indeed. My heart does skip a beat every time I hear that dreaded scraping sound. I even added the FBI 3" drop seat kit and had my seat cut. Still looking for someone to modify my boots.
I was at Daytona last weekend and sat on FBI"s Razor which is made on their frame and It sits better and lower than my bike with all the mods and still has plenty of ground clearance.
