Does anyone know what years they produced the Ranger XLT package in the 66 to 77 classic bronco?

Have a buddy that had a '79 with that set up. Wiki has a little info but you may find more info on a Bronco forum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Bronco

I remember the Ranger XLT full size ford trucks, like  mid late 70s into the 80s, but don't remember any ranger xlt broncs not the early ones...........course I also don't remember what I ate for breakfast.

'Had 3 Broncos, '88, '94, & '96. They were all great vehicles! 'Wish I still had the '96 (the last year).

'Only experience I had with the earlier ones, was when a high school buddy of mine rolled one on Kiawah Island, trying to do doughnuts on the beach while in 4wd!!!

I remember seeing one on e-bay 2 or 3 years ago that was
Low mileage and belonged to a country singer. It looked new
And was a 76 or 77 model. I see a lot of Ranger package ones
But the Ranger XLT is seemingly very rare.
In 78 and 79 they started making a lot more of the Ranger XLT
Package.

I had a friend who was into broncos and he told me the last one of the first series had a flip lid cover on the gas cap, that the covered up gas cap made it a desireable  body amongst bronco guys.
