So "saggy" or puckered leather is "normal".  I was thinking that because I reside North of the border the cool weather was the cause.  I'll have to get this checked out at the dealer.

On second thought, I don't think the cool weather has anything to do with it...the cold typically causes shrinkage!

I'm not trying to minimize the fact that some of you are having tour pack problems, but on the positive side I've got over 20K miles in all kinds of weather on my '06 and mine still looks great. I do use the leather goop very regularly. It looks about like new every time I use it. I've seen it become loose and bubble up when I've been through a fair amount of rain but it heals right away when I apply the goop. [smiley=grin.gif]

Exactly my experience.  Wet or humid conditions causes some sagging but the Harley goop has done the job for me as well.  Been using the goop on all my leather bags and stuff since 2001 and the bags still look like new.  I've found it best to apply in the sun where it liquifies a bit, then rub it off (in) after a little bit.

The only downside is it picks up a bit of brake dust and road dust.  A small price to pay IMHO.

Many thanks for the replies and offers.  Found two bottles of HD goop in the garage and will start applying immediately.
