That is awesome and would be quite neat if you could wire it to show on your inner fairing somehow. I would love to be able to see people coming up right behind me at times

We typically run ours with suction cup on back side of saddlebag or on bottom of tour pak.

Same issues from vibration at higher rpm, further away from exhaust the better

That's pretty neat. I didn't think the vibration was too bad. I guess it depends on the road.

:pepper: I have a dual camera recording system from Smart Witness. (www.smartwitness.co.uk) may have USA outlet. fitted on my bike.
Although the device they recommend for bikes has 4x camera capability. The unit is installed inside the top box with small recording cameras at front and rear. Almost unable to see, covert.
I also have a dual recording system in my car from Mi Witness (www.mi-witness.co.uk) this is excellent quality and link into google maps to show road and locations. but unsuitable for bikes due to the vibrations.
(I tried during trip around Europe this year and device would not cope with the bikes movement.)

Both sites have demo shows.

I have a Roadglide Ultra CVO.

Just for info.  :2vrolijk_21:

IMHO suction cup mounts are the way to go on a bagger: you can mount your camera on the top, side or back of the bags up on the windscreen, batwing, even the lower fairing crowns. And, because they're quick release you can move them around during a ride to get multiple views.

What I've found works really well is having two GoPros so that you can set them up to catch "coming & going" shots or just to have different perspectives from the same point in time. Again, the suction cup mount make it very easy to reposition the cameras during a ride so that you can end up with 4, 6, 7, 8 different view points to work with when you're editing.

Very nice video TG......what software did you use to patch it all together?

Nice video, how long did it take you to edit and produce it? It seems like it would be past my capabilities
